A short video clip in which leadership coach Neil Jurd talks about the importance of exercise and reflection time.  The working world moves at a fast face, with digital communications allowing us to become overloaded with information and demands on our time.  Neil also discusses the importance of exercise and well-being, things which often get pushed aside in our busy working lives.

When we are fit and healthy, we are so much better able to cope with the stresses and pressures of our working lives.  In coaching work an experienced coach can often spot when a client who usually exercises has stopped exercising.  In the book ‘spark’ John Ratey notes that long distance runners often suffer from depression when they retire from running.  Exercise can be very important for mental well-being, and it is usually beneficial for people, how ever busy they are, to take break from their work and if practical, find time for exercise.
